Cristiano Ronaldo to get football fans into Web3 with Binance partnership

Cristiano Ronaldo stated that he was interested in being a part of the idea of providing his fans with novel experiences through NFTs.


Cristiano Ronaldo, a Soccer Legend, and Cryptocurrency Exchange Binance have agreed to an exclusive multi-year nonfungible token (NFT) collaboration. The collaboration aims to familiarize soccer fans to the Web3 environment through global NFT efforts.

Ronaldo and Binance will work together to Create a Number of NFT Collections.The initial collection won't be available anywhere else but the Binance NFT platform when it debuts later this year.

Ronaldo has achieved Great things in Soccer, and Binance CEO and founder Changpeng Zhao noted that the athlete has "transcended sport to become a symbol in various industries." Moreover, Zhao stated:

“Through his genuineness, talent, and charitable activities, he has established one of the most devoted fan groups in the world.”

As owners of NFT collections, Zhao continued, the Binance team is thrilled to provide Ronaldo fans "unique interaction opportunities to connect with Ronaldo." The soccer legend also spoke about the Future NFT products will be well-received, according to fans. Ronaldo added the following:

"My relationship with the fans is really important to me, so I wanted to be a part of the idea of giving unique experiences and access through this NFT platform."

Ronaldo received cryptocurrency tokens for his sporting accomplishments back in March. For each senior career goal the soccer player scored, he received JUV tokens, the club's official fan token.
