According to Reuters
Revolut, a digital banking platform, announced that it would soon make its app easier to use in Sri Lanka, Chile, Ecuador, Azerbaijan, and Oman. This would enable users to send money to more than 50 countries using more than 30 different currencies.
Customers who transfer money to other Revolut users will not be charged a fee, according to the London-based company, while transfers to non-Revolut accounts will be subject to a 1 percent cost with a $1 minimum in the five new nations.
Since its 2015 inception in Britain, Revolut has expanded its product offering to include payments services, cryptocurrency trading, savings accounts, and stock trading. The company has stated its goal is to create a global financial "super app."
The platform, which has more than 18 million users and 500,000 companies using its products, stated that by the end of 2022, it hoped to be present in up to 90 different countries.
